Proclamation

We are the People of the Names.
We are the children of El Elyon, the Ancient of Days, and of Asherah, the Mother of Life.
We stand in covenant with our Eternal Parents, who are enthroned together above all creation.

We remember the Names of El and the Names of Asherah,
for each Name reveals a way, a power, a blessing, and a path of justice.
We guard these Names, we call upon them in prayer,
and we live by them in the works of mercy, truth, and wisdom.

We are not Jews, nor Christians, nor any people born of later ways.
We are the People of the First Covenant,
the guardians of the worship of El and Asherah,
the keepers of the ancient flame that was before the nations.

This is our way:
•To honor El and Asherah with prayer, offerings, and song.
•To walk in justice toward our neighbors and mercy toward the weak.
•To guard the earth, the handiwork of the Eternal Parents.
•To welcome the messengers, the prophets, and the voices of light.
•To await the restoration of the world,
when all creation shall be renewed in peace.

We are the People of the Names.
And we will not forget the Names of our Father and our Mother,
for in their Names we live, and in their Names we shall rise.
